JEE Advanced Result 2017         

The IIT Madras will declare the JEE Advanced Result 2017 on 11th June 2017 at 10:00 am. Applicants who have appeared in IIT JEE Advanced can check their Result of JEE Advanced 2017. JEE Advanced 2017 Result

IIT Madras conducts IIT JEE Advanced 2017 for admission into B.Tech, Dual degree B.Tech-M.Tech, Integrated M.Tech programmes for academic session 2017-2018. A huge number of aspirants had appeared for the IIT JEE Advanced exam, they are looking for the JEE Advanced Result 2017. The examination authority will be declared JEE Advanced result 2017 after the completing the assessment of the IIT JEE Advanced Answer Key. The JEE Advanced entrance exam result will show the scores secured by applicants in both papers.  JEE (Advanced) score will be estimated as per the marking scheme of the entrance examination. The JEE Advanced 2017 results will contain category wise JEE Advanced All India Rank of successful applicants. JEE Advanced Rank List 2017

The exam conducting authority will also release the JEE Advanced 2017 rank list or JEE Advanced merit list 2017along with JEE Advanced result 2017. Only applicants who appear in the paper 1 and 2 will be considered for the ranking. The rank list of IIT JEE Advanced will be prepared based on the aggregate marks or scores in the entrance examination.  Also, the JEE Advanced 2017 rank or merit list for admission into ISM & IITs will be displayed on the basis of the applicant’s performance in the entrance exam. The marks secured by applicant in the subject of physics in the entrance exam will be equal to the scores obtained in physics section of paper 1 and also scores obtained in physics section of paper 2.  Marks secured in mathematics & chemistry will be estimated in the similar way. In addition, rank list or merit list of IIT JEE Advanced will be published category wise.

Tie Breaking Rule for JEE Advanced Rank List or Merit List 2017

If the marks obtained by two or more applicants are the equal, then following tie break rule is used for the awarding ranks:-    

  • Higher rank is allocated to the applicant who has secured higher marks in the subject of Mathematics.
  • If this doesn’t break the tie, higher rank is allocated to the applicant who has secured higher marks in the subject of Physics.
  • In case the tie persists, applicants will be allocated the equal rank.

Only applicants who obtain the minimum arranged marks in every subject in aggregate will be comprised in the IIT JEE Advanced exam rank list / JEE Advanced Result . The minimum marks necessary for qualifying IIT JEE Advanced as given below:

JEE Advanced Rank Card 2017

After announcement of the JEE Advanced result 2017, the IIT Madras will publish the rank card of JEE Advanced through online mode. The marks appeared in the JEE Advanced 2017 rank card will be combination of scores or marks obtained by the applicants in both paper 1 and 2.  So, all qualified applicants can download their score card of JEE Advanced at its official site of JEE (Advanced) 2017. Individual JEE Advanced score card 2017 will not be sent to applicants.  In addition, the JEE (Advanced) 2017 rank cards will display the name of applicant, roll number, passing year, DOB, JEE Advanced 2017 All India Rank, category rank, a total scores, etc.

How to Check JEE Advanced Result 2017

Follow the given below process to check JEE Advanced Result:-

  • First of all applicants should visit the JEE Advanced official site.
  • Now click on the JEE Advanced Result link.
  • After that applicants need to enter the JEE Advanced registration number, DOB, mobile number & email ID.
  • Then click on submit button.
  • The JEE Advanced result 2017 will display on the screen.
  • Then check your JEE Advanced Result & JEE Advanced rank.
  • And then applicants can download JEE Advanced score cards.

JEE Advanced 2017 Cut off

The conducting institute will announce the cut off score of JEE Advanced after the declaration of JEE Advanced result 2017.  The JEE Advanced 2017 cut off is the minimum qualifying scores obtained by the applicants in the test for admission to UG engineering courses provided across IITs & ISM Dhanbad.  Moreover, the admission cut off score is different from the JEE (Advanced) qualifying cut off score. Only those applicants will be shortlisted for the admission procedure who will score above the JEE Advanced cutoff score. The cutoff marks of IIT JEE (Advanced) is determined on the basis of various parameters such as number of aspirants, difficulty level of exam paper, previous year cutoff score, availability of seats, etc. Furthermore, the cutoff scores of JEE (Advanced) will help the applicants in knowing their chances of getting selected for the admission into ISM Dhanbad & IITs.
