JEE Main Result 2017

JEE (Main) 2017 is a national level entrance examination which is organized by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CBSE organize the IIT JEE 2017 or JEE Mains 2017 for admission to undergraduate engineering/architecture courses at IIITs, NITs, other centrally funded technical institutions and institutions funded by participating state governments.  The examination consist of two papers, JEE Main paper 1 is for B.E/B.Tech admissions, whereas paper 2 is for B.Arch/B.Plan admissions. JEE Main 2017 Result All India Rank

After the publication of official IIT JEE answer key, applicants are searching for the IIT JEE Mains result 2017 or JEE Main 2017 AIRs. JEE Main Results 2017 for Paper 1 and Paper 2

JEE Main Rank Predictor 2017

After completing the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2017, the aspirants have to check their possible ranks before the declaration of official JEE Main result 2017 with the help of JEE Main 2017 rank predictor tool.  The rank predictor for JEE Main exam is a tool helps aspirants in estimating their probable All India Rank in the examination. JEE Main Rank List 2017

The JEE Main 2017 rank list will be published by JAB (Joint Admission Board) on 27th April 2017 along with JEE Main result 2017. The JEE Main All India Ranks of the aspirants will be published through the IIT JEE Mains rank list. The rank list of JEE Main 2017 will contain All India Ranks (AIRs), state ranks, subject wise scores and category wise ranks of the applicants. In addition, admissions to qualified applicants of JEE Main are offered UG engineering seats based on the JEE Main 2017 AIRs in 20 IIITs, 31 NITs & 18 GFTIs. If two or more applicants obtain equal scores, then inter-se merit of such applicants will be determined by the following order, which is given below.

Tie Breakers for admission to B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning:-

1) JEE Main Rank list for B.E/B.Tech admission (in institutions other than IITs)

  • Resolution by scores secured in Physics in the entrance exam. Applicants securing higher scores will be offered better rank.
  • Resolution by scores secured in Mathematics in the examination. Applicants securing higher scores will be provided better rank.
  • If the ruling is not possible after this condition, applicants will be provided the same rank.

2) JEE Main Rank list for B.Arch/B.Planning admission (in institutions other than IITs)

  • Resolution by scores secured in drawing test in JEE Main paper 2. Applicants securing higher scores will be provided better rank.
  • Resolution by scores secured in aptitude test in JEE Main paper 2. Applicants securing higher scores will be offered better rank.
  • The total value calculated on basis of the positive marks and negative marks ratio will be taken into consideration & applicant with higher total value according to the ratio will be provided higher in the list.
  • In case the tie isn’t resolved after applying all the above provided rules then the applicants will be provided the same rank.

How to Check JEE Main Result 2017

The IIT JEE Main 2017 result for Paper 1 will be announced on 27th April 2017. The JEE Main Paper 2 result 2017 will be declared on 27th May 2017. On the basis of the JEE Main scores secured by the aspirants in JEE Main result 2017, a separate rank list for JEE Main 2017 will be published by the admission committee. Applicants can check their results for JEE Main 2017 by following these process.

  • Applicants first visit the official Site of JEE Main 2017.
  • Now click on the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017 result with rank link.
  • After that applicants need to enter the JEE Main 2017 roll number and date of birth.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the JEE Main Rank Card 2017 at its official site of JEE Main 2017. JEE Main Answer Key 2017

After the completion of entrance examination, the JEE Main 2017 answer key is published online at its official site of JEE Main 2017. JEE Main Counselling 2017

The JEE Main 2017 Counselling and seat allotment will be organized by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Only those aspirants who have qualified in Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017 are required to take part in the JEE Main counselling process. The counselling and seat allotment of JEE Main 2017 will be organized for 18 GFTIs, 31 NITs and 20 IIITs, which are the JEE Main participating institutes.
